Chapter 8 (Sea of Opportunities) Plague Tale: Requiem, Amicia and Hugo must flee from the Count's soldiers. Our walkthrough showshow to win the chase and how to hide from the falcon.
Celebration of Bright Days
Hugo and Amicia set sail for La Cuno, Hugo's dream island. With the brothers and sisters are Arno and Sofia, a smuggler boat captain.
Talk to others
Amicia and the others are at sea now, enjoying the silence. For this purpose, approach Arno, and then Sofia will ask for your help and Arno's help. Move to the opposite side of the Arno and pull the rope compartment behind you, holding

Explore the boat with Hugo
Climb to the upper deck and talk to Sophia so that Hugo can ask his question.

Talk to others
Now return to Sophia and talk to her about the new cutscene. Having missed the ship for a while, Hugo again asks for attention. La Cuna appears in the distance. Hugo knows he will die, but Amicia reassures him that everything will be fine and that she is happy to be by his side.
Sophia, telling us that we are going to make land, asks us for help.
Talk to Sophia at the Dock
Talk to Sophia at the helm and you will automatically trigger a cutscene and dock. The village we moored in is under the count's law, so we can expect a few soldiers to move forward. However, for now, the city of the island is celebrating Days of Light, during which every child is the king of the day. A woman greets us in the city and crowns Hugo.
Enter the village
Follow Arno through the streets of the village. As we make our way through the village, Arno wants to know more about Hugo's dream.
Look around for information about the island
Now we are at the village market. Turn right once you reach the market and continue through the second archway. You will reach a goat pen that you can interact with and unlock Souvenir #13/21: Silent Lucinda.
Return to the market and talk to the spice and cloth vendors, the man in the middle of the market, then the woman and her crowd in the garden.
Here pass by a woman and you will find herbarium item Hugo #7/12 / Feather #3/7 Black kite by the tree above the steps.
Now return to the market and approach the guard standing at the archway to open the street uphill.
Continue up the street, up the stairs, but don't continue straight ahead just yet. Instead, go down the stairs on the left and stand by the flower crown stand. After the man has finished speaking, Amicia asks him if they can play. Completing this mini-game rewards you Memory #14/21 Flower Crown. You can also unlock the trophy
Now go back and up the street and you will see a crowd of people about to start the parade at the white church.

Continue down the street, past the blacksmiths and dancers workshop, then approach the fence to witness the parade. You can interact with the woman next to you, who will allow Hugo to throw some flower petals at the front people.
Continue around the dancers, past the stalls, up and down the stairs. The procession stopped. The Count is here!
Arno expects Hugo to hold out until the end of the deal and unleash the rats on the Count, but Amicia won't allow it. Arno then takes matters into his own hands and removes his sword, ready to take on the Count.
Escape from the Count's soldiers
With the end of the scene, Amicia and Hugo will be treated as enemies. As soon as you regain control over the heroes, the chase begins. Always hold the sprint button and get to the building to temporarily lose the chase.
Continue along the path - in the barn there is additional workbench. Ask Hugo to squeeze through the hole in the wall (image above) and he will open the gate for you.
Behind the gate you will find a wheeled cart and you can start pushing it. Put the cart in a place to access the top floor of the barn. Here there is a secret chest.
Falcon Escape
A more difficult task awaits you - you will encounter a falconier who sends his pet to hunt you down. Being without cover when the falcon attacks means instant death.
Start by throwing a rock at a nearby toolbox. This will attract the attention of the falcon, which will begin to fly to this place.
Take the opportunity to let the falcon get distracted and quickly reached the next hiding place. Don't try to get any farther to cover as you might not make it in time.
Repeat the above 2 steps until you reach side door (screenshot above), which leads from this place.
Your new task is to find Arno. Just follow the linear path to the area that will be the backdrop for Arno's duel against the Count.
Follow the Count and Countess
You will be taken to the count's estatebut this time you'll be treated like guest. Just follow the Count and his wife, listen to the conversations along the way, and complete simple interactions (tasting, praying). You will reach the room prepared for Hugo and Amicia. This is where Chapter 8 ends.
You cannot freely roam the estate now, but this will change in the next chapter.
