Complete walkthrough of El Sin Nombre mission

Starter weapon set

Tactical knife

Alejandro will give you tactical knife, which can be used for stealth kills after you complete the interrogation sequence and reach the 1st floor of the El Sin Nombre complex.

Follow Diegountil you reach the room with Valeria. Come into the room and sit down.

Valeria will interrogate and ask you 4 question. Answer the first 3 truthfully, while the last one can be any of the options she gives you.

Answers to interrogation questions

Q1: Who attacked us?
Response: It was the Mexican special forces.

Q2: There were outsiders helping the Mexican special forces. Who were they?
Response: American PMCs. Shadow company.

Q3: Who leads the Shadow Company?

Follow Valeria and Diego back to the elevator. They will head to the penthouse while they let you go to the 1st floor, where Alejandro will be waiting for you.

After talking to Alejandro, go down the corridor and enter the first room on your left.

Make your way to the kitchen. Grab some bottles from the counter to use as a distraction for the guard outside.

Throw the bottle into the hall for the guard to climb the stairs to investigate. Once the area is clear, exit the kitchen. There should be 2 AC units to your right that you can use to get to the roof of the garage.

Once you're on top of the garage, head to the hall on the 2nd floor and enter the room on the left. Be careful, sometimes there is a guard waiting here who smokes. If so, wait for him to leave before heading to the room.

In this room, you can find a throwing knife on a table to your left. Take a throwing knife as it will allow you to perform stealth kills

Exit the room and go to the room with the pool table. There will be guards patrolling the area, so just keep crouching and waiting for them to leave.

From the room with the pool table, go to the guard at the hall and use your throwing knife on him.

Open the door and kill the guard at the window with a throwing knife, then takedown Diego. Take the keycard right in front of you.

Exit through the window from the room and drop back down to the 1st floor.

Meet Alejandro and take the elevator to the penthouse.

Once you get to the penthouse, get the gun from the guard that Alejandro will kill. Break into the room and capture El Sin Nombre. Note that there will be a total of 3 guards inside, including an extra heavy soldier that spawns in the hallway after Valeria leaves.

Answers to questions

Question #1 - Mexican Special Forces

For the first question, Valeria will ask for Soap, who attacked them in the mountains (alluding to the mission to protect the cartel). There are three options in this sequence:

• It was Mexican special forces
• It was the Mexican army
• It was a cartel

The correct answer would be the Mexican Special Forces variant.

Question No2 - American PMC. Shadow company

For the first question, Valeria will ask Soap about the "outsiders" who helped the Mexican special forces during the battle. Following are the three options during this interaction:

• Your competitors
• They work alone
• American PMC. Shadow Company

The correct answer to this question would be American PMCs. shadow company.

Question #3 – Philip Graves

For the third and final question, Valeria will ask about the leader of the Shadow Company. The last question will also have three possible options:

• Philip Graves
• Alejandro Vargas
• Ghost

To continue the mission, answer Philip Graves.

Two wrong answers will jeopardize the mission

A mistake during the interrogation will not cause the mission to fail immediately. Instead, Valeria will ask an additional question to give the player another chance.

However, if Soap gives the wrong answer for the second time in a row, he will be shot and the mission will resume at the last checkpoint.

How to complete the El Sin Nombre mission on realism difficulty

Pick up and use bottles to distract the guards

There will be at least 2 cases where you will have to distract the guards with bottles. To get a few, head to canteenwhere you can find 4 bottles. Use them to make the guard near the stairs move, allowing you to sneak outside and onto the AC units undetected.

Wait for the balcony guard to leave

The guard waiting on the balcony leading to the 2nd floor will take a quick smoke break. Stay crouched and hide until he gets back inside the structure. Don't try to cross it while it's outside, as the balcony railing isn't high enough to hide you.

Head to the trellis and climb to the roof

When the guard is out of sight, use the ladder on the trellis to climb up to the roof. This is the safest way to get to El Sin Nombre without being detected. Getting the keycard requires you to fight, while heading to the Garage you only equip yourself with weapons that you cannot use stealthily.

Distract the guards on the roof immediately

Once you're on the roof, immediately throw a bottle in front of 3 guards to distract them. Move to the bar while they're distracted, then from there, head up the stairs to get to the elevator shaft.

Pre-Aim at the Penthouse Heavy Armor Soldier

When you hack and clear El Sin Nombre's office, there will be a total of 4 guards inside (including Diego). Kill Diego and 2 others before aiming down the corridor to the right of the room. A heavily armored soldier will spawn from here, so don't forget to aim at his head and drop him quickly.

Note: There is a trigger bug when shooting enemies inside the room before Valeria escapes. If you shoot the guard helping Valeria and the one to the left of the room, their deaths will be delayed until Valeria is on the roof (they will look alive, but then after a second or two).

El Sin Nombre Mission Achievements

Ghost-in-Training / Future Ghost (GOLD) Infiltrate the penthouse in Operation El Sin Nombre without killing or raising the alarm.

While there are many ways to get to the penthouse, Ghost offers you use trellis at the garage and climb to the roof. It's best to accept his offer as it's the easiest way to get to the penthouse while getting ghost in training.

Patience is the key to achieving this achievement, as you will need to wait for the guards to pass your path. you can find bottles placed throughout the area, and we recommend picking them up as they can be used to distract the guards.
