Full passage of the mission
Leaning out of the car to provide support, enemies will begin to appear. Although you can fight in this mission, you cannot die before the final cutscene. You can just stay in the car and let the mission play out.
Keep shooting at the enemies while your allies try to break out.
When you try to escape, the trucks will block your path. Clear as many enemies as possible while you retreat. You will end up getting hit by an RPG that destroys your vehicle.
Get to the gun. You will be stopped by the enemy before you can reach him. This triggers a cutscene and ends the mission.

How to complete the mission Backdating on realism difficulty
Stay inside the vehicle when interacting with Russian PMCs
During the mission, Sergeant DiPaolo and his squadmates will be ambushed by Russian PMCs. Leaning out of the car, the player will be left unprotected and will quickly die.
It is recommended to stay inside the vehicle when firing at enemy forces, as this will keep Sergeant DiPaolo safe until the vehicle is destroyed by the RPG.
