Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 5
Gran Turismo 7 was announced at Sony's Future of Gaming show on June 11th, and racing fans got a glimpse of what the new game will look like on PS5. Let's take a look at everything we know so far.
PlayStation audiences around the world have been eagerly awaiting the release of PS5 for a while, and this year's digital conference en masse unveiled new details about the console, as well as juicy new gameplay for Gran Turismo players.
Gran Turismo 7 promises to deliver all the high-octane racing the game is known for, while boasting a campaign mode experience that Polyphony Digital series director Kazunori Yamauchi says will "make fans very happy."
We didn't see too much gameplay outside of the first person view of racing and GT Town, which showcased various special events, a parts store, a GT Cafe, and championship races for fans to choose from.
The next iteration of the PlayStation line will again push the boundaries of the worlds and their interactions that developers can create.
This will be critical for games like GT7 that aim for the most realistic environments inside and outside the cockpit of a supercar.
A brief glimpse allowed us to glimpse into the future of the series with pristine environments, stunning visuals, incredible recreations of famous tracks from around the world, and more.
Players will be able to “feel” other drivers and “feel” the road thanks to upcoming 3D audio consoles and controller haptic feedback features, respectively.
“An even more realistic driving experience is expected with haptic feedback that gives you an idea of what it's like when the tires hit the road. The PS3's impressive 5D audio allows players to feel the position of other vehicles and the drivers around them. »
Sony has yet to confirm an official release date for the game, but given that Gran Turismo 7 is a PlayStation exclusive, expect it to release around or a little after the PS5 launch.
