Videos of Viral Killings of Zombies in the Army of the Dead Universe Released
Netflix is releasing more in-universe zombie killing videos from Mikey Guzman's (Raul Castillo) viral YouTube channel featured in Army of the Dead.
All of Mikey Guzman's (Raul Castillo) zombie killing videos in the Army of the Dead universe have been released. Zack Snyder's long-awaited return to the zombie genre debuted last month and has been receiving high praise ever since. With Snyder being one of the most controversial filmmakers working today, there are always going to be detractors, but Army of the Dead has been averaging a rating of around 70% on Rotten Tomatoes since its release. This is a small mark compared to the critical reception Justice League Zack Snyder , but a significant improvement over his previous DCEU films about " Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and " Man of Steel" .
В numerous robbery team " armies of the dead "includes characters played by Dave Bautista, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Matthias Schweigofer, Nora Arnezeder and Tig Notaro, but Mikey Guzman, played by Raul Castillo, excels unexpectedly. Described in the film as a Chicano sniper, Guzman is well known in the Army of the Dead universe for his viral zombie kills on his Youtube channel, "Guzman of the Dead 420". Although one of these videos was shown in the movie itself, new content is slowly starting to surface.
Now new in-universe videos from Guzman's viral Youtube channel can be seen through Netflix Film Club . The new clips show Mikey Guzman's various Las Vegas escapades, showing off his zombie-killing creativity, including smashing a ghoul's head in his Cadillac and a bloody zombie baseball game rife with daring montage. Watch Guzman's video below:
Although he was presented as a slightly absurd character, GUsman was actually awarded a heroic death at the end of the film as he sacrifices himself to save Scott and Lily.
Guzman's in-universe video is just the latest example of Snyder's knack for creating cinematic universes, which will hopefully be featured in the two upcoming Army of the Dead prequels, an action film centered around eccentric safecracker Ludwig Matthias Schweighöfer.
