Watch Marvel's New Fun M.O.D.O.K. Trailer
The latest trailer for the upcoming Hulu series based on the Marvel supervillain offers fans a glimpse into Modoc's family life.
Marvel's fresh trailer for the TV series "Modok" gives fans a glimpse into the life of the Mobile Organism for Catastrophe Organisation. The comic book supervillain reveals his evil plans for global domination, but as he shoots people and fights heroes, he also tries very hard to maintain a healthy work-life balance that anyone can strive for.
The hilarious two-minute trailer that both Marvel Entertainment and Hulu simultaneously shared on their social media channels depicts the evil character in a very understandable format. Looks like his evil organization AIM has gone bankrupt and his family life isn't getting better either. Solving your family problems MODOK is also coping with a midlife crisis and must face greater challenges if he is to see his plans succeed.
The trailer begins with a bit of backstory: young MODOK is bullied at school and is referred to as "big head" by his peers. While his mother's confidence in his son's ability to someday "change the world" is touching, things take a dramatic turn when he becomes a megalomaniac that has nothing to do with the typical villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe . But that's not all. In his goal to take over the world, he will go up against Iron Man, voiced by Jon Hamm, and Wonder Man, voiced by Nathan Fillion. The latter is even seen taking off with the supervillain's wife, much to MODOK's anger.
In the comics, MODOK fights several members of the Avengers at various points, including Captain America and the Hulk. He even continues to assemble his own team of supervillains, but his storyline and attempts to take over the world are constantly shrouded in comedy, which seems to perfectly reflect the Hulu cartoon series.
Marvel Tuesday released the official poster MODOK for the upcoming 10-episode animated film, which premieres May 21 on Hulu, is a comedy series created using stop-motion animation. The fact that this is not a live action series was already appreciated by Marvel fans even before the series was released, because the animated format will allow the creators to keep the adaptation in line with the comics with a villain appearance that is very similar to the one in source material. It has a fairly large head and tiny limbs.
Premiere M.O.D.O.K. will take place on Hulu on May 21, 2021.
