Rumors: Game of Thrones Emilia Clarke Will Appear in New Marvel Series

Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke heads to the Marvel Universe to star in upcoming Disney+ series "Secret Invasion" . The show will be adapting a comic book arc of the same name in which the alien Skrull race uses their shape-shifting abilities to infiltrate earth and impersonate some of Marvel's most iconic characters. The Skrulls played a prominent role in 2019's Captain Marvel and have made sporadic appearances in the MCU ever since.

Secret Invasion  is going to bring back Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, a member of the Skrull race. As filming approaches in the run-up to what will likely take place in 2022, the series' cast has begun to take shape at an accelerated pace. Kingsley Ben-Adir from One Night in Miami has been cast in a villainous role, and it was recently revealed that Olivia Colman from «The Crown is also in talks for a role. Details surrounding their characters are being kept under wraps, but Secret Invasion has added another high-profile actor to its roster.
