The protagonist of the film is Xiao Yan. Throughout the episodes, he struggles to restore his reputation. From the very first series, he had a share of many trials, and he successfully overcame them. But it soon became clear that the real adventure was just beginning.
Rumors about the renewal of the film have been around for a long time, but the creators were in no hurry to reveal the premiere date and generally avoided questions from fans. And recently, it became known to everyone that the anime “Shattered Blue in Battle” was renewed for a fifth season, and its premiere will take place on July 31, 2022.
About the fifth season of "Battle-Shattered Blue Skies"
The fifth season of the Sky Fight anime series will introduce Yao Lao's journey as his first student Han Feng betrayed him, leading to his death and his being in spirit form.
We will also see various events awaiting Xiao Yan in the Black Corner, a chaotic and disorderly region far from the Jia Ma Empire, where the famous Jia Nan Academy is located. Here, Xiao Yan will have to fight against various factions and demonic sects, up to confrontation with Emperor Dou, named Fang Lao, who killed the latter's son.
Upon arriving at Jia Nan Academy, he will meet several of his relatives and face new challenges. During his studies, he will find new allies and enemies, experience a long-awaited reunion with Gu Xun'er, and go head-to-head with the Heavenly Flame, which gained sentience, becoming the flame of a fallen heart.
It will also feature Xiao Yan's encounter with Han Feng, Yao Lao's first disciple and a level six alchemist who will rival him for the Fallen Heart Flame. Luckily, Queen Medusa occasionally appears, and although she is unpredictable, she still saves Xiao Yan at the end of the day with her presence.
