HBO's The Last of Us Adds Two More Directors

Zhbanich and Abbasi will join Russian director Kantemir Balagov (Dylda), who will direct the first episode of The Last of Us.
According to Variety, The authors of the series based on the game The Last of Us found two more directors for the show. They were Yasmila Zhbanich (“Where are you going, Aida?”) and Ali Abbasi (“On the border of the worlds”).
Gabriel Luna (Agents of SHIELD) will play Tommy, Joel's younger brother, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay.
Filming will begin in July 2021 and will continue until 2022. Some events in the series will differ significantly from the original game.
The premiere date of the series is unknown.
