This is a big investigation by TNT and journalist Howard Campbell about the mysterious life of the Soviet bard Eduard Severe, who was introduced to the Russians by Comedy Club resident Garik Kharlamov, one of the filmmakers. Performing the songs of Eduard the Severe from the stage, which instantly became hits, Kharlamov returned the people's love to the musician and songwriter, whose life and fate were erased from the history of the USSR. The reason for everything is a strange incident at a music competition in British Brighton, about which the heroes of this film - musicians, producers, actors and employees of the Soviet special services - will tell with all the details and facts.
Garik Kharlamov: “I didn’t want the story about Eduard Sourov to be a linear film for distribution, I dreamed of a different, unusual genre. Edward Severe is authentic, he is not of this world, he is a person whose brains work differently. Therefore, I wanted to present it in a special way. I want to believe that the audience will like it. I didn’t have the honor of producing anything for a very long time, and now the opportunity has arisen to produce my product from beginning to end, to participate in the embodiment of the multifaceted image of the bard Eduard the Severe on the screen.

In addition to all of the above, Garik Kharlamov announced the first official musical collection of songs by Eduard the Severe, which can already be found on the iTunes platform.
The collection, entitled "And so it all happened," includes 42 short songs recorded during the filming of Comedy Club shows.
For the first time, the audience learned about the existence of the bard Eduard the Severe in 2008.
