Sacha Baron Cohen has secretly filmed a sequel to Borat and has already shown it to some industry professionals.

According to Collider , Sacha Baron Cohen produced and directed the secret sequel « Borata" . He even demonstrated it to several members of the entertainment industry.
Plot details remain under wraps, but Cohen's gimmicks for the first film, in which he would go undercover and film real-life interactions with Americans to be included in the film, no longer work as he is too recognizable. Instead, he had to go undercover. One source described it as "Cohen plays Borat as Cohen". Another source denied this description, but confirmed that the project exists. It's unclear who is paying for the sequel, whether it will premiere in theaters or on video-on-demand or streaming.
This news comes just weeks after Cohen was seen in the role of Borat. Footage posted to TikTok shows Cohen driving a pickup truck behind a van full of crew members.
