Atomic Heart - New Ray Tracing Tech Demonstration

I don't know about you, but I still remember the technology demo very well. Battlefield 5, which was mainly based on demonstrating the capabilities of ray tracing technology. As we all know, in practice, ray tracing turned out to be much less optimized and less convenient than expected (or at least than players expected). But here's another title that will be full of ray tracing. I'm talking about the surreal Atomic Heart by Mundfish. The first tech demo appeared at the end of October 2018, but the latest showed more scenes in which you can admire the RTX. The game will probably come out this year.

Atomic Heart: Bioshock and Fallout on Soviet steroids
Atomic Heart, sort of a mixture of Doom and BioShock, was one of the games that showcased the capabilities of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards last summer as part of a demo. The title should arrive in 2019, as stated on the game's Steam page. The first technology demo we mentioned was released at the end of October 2018 (below) and the latest (below news) was shown at this year's CES in Las Vegas.
Atomic Heart uses DXR technology to simulate realistic reflections and, among other things, the most realistic lighting. I have to admit that the video is impressive in particular on the presentation of soft shadows and refraction, ie. change in the direction of propagation (refraction) of rays. The issue of caustics, that is, the surface, which is a set of intersection points of light rays emanating from one point at different angles, was also raised.
