Streamer Awards 2023: nominations, categories, live broadcast, details
On January 20, 2023, Twitch streamer Blair "QTCinderella" announced on her Twitter account that Streamer Awards will return for the second time after the successful first season of the event.
Like last year, the 2023 event will be streamed live on the official QTCinderella Twitch channel on March 11th. As for the venture, The Wiltern, a 12-story Art Deco building in Los Angeles, has been announced as the venue.
Described as the first ever streamer-focused awards show, the Streamer Awards is expected to push the boundaries further.
Which content creators are nominated for the Streamer Awards 2023?
Unlike last year, which featured a set of four nominees and a winner in multiple categories, the Streamer Awards 2023 decided to take a different turn. For those who are interested, the official website has announced that it will provide a certain number of categories in which fans can freely nominate candidates.
However, there are certain criteria. For example, a streamer that a viewer wants to nominate must broadcast at least 200 hours in 2022. The site writes:
"To be considered for any award category, nominated streamers must have streamed a total of at least 200 hours in 2022."
In addition, to be nominated in certain game genres or categories, the streamer in question must also have at least 100 hours of streaming time:
"To be considered for specific award categories (such as Battle Royale, Art, Chess, etc.), nominated streamers must broadcast at least 100 hours in that category in 2022."
What are the different categories?
Like last year, this year's Streamer Awards will follow a similar path, spanning as many as 26 categories. Fans can enter their nominee of their choice on the open portal on the site. Readers should note that the deadline for nominations is February 11th.

Who will attend the event?
A lot of creators attended last year's event and this time should be no different. Familiar faces such as Ludwig, Hasanabi, Maya Higa, Valkyra and xQc must be present during the event.
