Tips and Tricks for Beginners in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt
Bloodhunt brings a vampire twist to the Battle Royale genre, and you may need a little help before you can fully play.
bloodhunt - the last game in the series Vampire: The Masquerade , this time immersing players in a massive battle royale on the streets of Prague. If you're familiar with Battle Royale, you'll know what's going on, but bloodhunt really offers a lot of vampiric twists that make it unique.
With that in mind, here are a few tips and tricks to help you kickstart your career in bloodhunt .
Start every match with sharpened vision
Focused vision — it the equivalent of detective vision bloodhunt , and he highlights points of interest, weapons, consumables and NPCs . Every time a match starts, you'd better get a quick look at the surrounding area while hunting for supply caches that you can raid.
You won't have much time before you start running into other players, so you need to get ready as quickly as possible. In addition, there are some resonant NPCs in Heightened Vision, which we'll talk about later.
Make full use of your archetype abilities
Archetypes are character classes bloodhunt, and there are currently six in the game to choose from. Brute and Vandal are offensively focused, Saboteur and Rogue are stealth focused, and Deceiver and Muse are support focused.
Each archetype has two unique abilities tied to Q and E that cooldown when used. You need to spend some time getting used to the skills of each class and learning how to use them more effectively.
For example, the Musa has a healing field that can be deployed in the middle of a firefight to buff your team, and the Saboteur has a stealth ability that turns them into a cloud of smoke, great for avoiding firefights or sneaking up on enemies. .
Instead of jumping around archetypes, it's best to focus entirely on one class until you've learned it very well.
stick to the height
bloodhunt is a vertically focused game as the rooftops of Prague become your hunting grounds. Of course, you will need to spend some time on the ground to collect items or NPCs, but it's best to stick to the rooftops for as long as possible.
Wandering on the ground puts you at a disadvantage compared to those above, as it is much easier for them to spot and grab you. Once you have enough gear, climb into the nearest building and survey your surroundings, then try to stay in the shadows as you advance through the city.
Avoid Essence
While other players are your main concern, they are not the only threat in bloodhunt . Groups of NPCs known as Essences are scattered all over the map and they will immediately shoot you on the spot. The entity guards the equipment, but it's generally not worth the risk unless you're really in the mood.
On the map, groups of Essences are marked with red crosses, so it would be wise to move away from them, especially if you are playing alone.
Use resonance and diablerise
Resonance is a unique system in bloodhunt, which gives you bonuses when you drink the blood of a Resonant NPC. When you use your heightened vision, these NPCs will have a colored aura that surrounds them, and drinking their blood will grant you one slot in the indicated resonance slot.
You get three different Resonance slots in every match, so choose the ones that best suit your playstyle. You can get more Resonance slots by playing as players Diablerize, which works like an execution. When an enemy is down, run up to them and hold F to get Diablerise, which will grant you an extra Resonance slot and pop all of their equipment.
If you play as a team, revive your allies
If you are playing in team mode bloodhunt, you absolutely need to know how to revive your teammates. Allies can of course be picked up when they are downed, but there is also a way to fully resurrect them upon death.
On the map bloodhunt there is a series of white crosses surrounded by circles and these dots represent respawn points. If one or both of your teammates are dead, head to one of the locations on the map and look for a white aura like in the image above. If you run up to the aura and hold F, you will be able to fully revive your teammates, but keep in mind that you are completely defenseless while doing this.
