New Double-Headed Sapphire Radeon RX 570 Will Allow You To Mine And Play
The cryptocurrency market has been storming for several months in a row. Following price fluctuations, the graphics accelerator market is also moving. Video card manufacturers are trying to squeeze as much benefit out of this situation as possible, so they produce not only suitable video cards for gamers, but also outdated chips for miners.
Sapphire has introduced a new graphics card that looks unusual to say the least. All this is due to the fact that the novelty is seriously different from all traditional cards. The manufacturer has created an accelerator based on two AMD Radeon RX 570 chips with the Polaris architecture. An unusual graphics adapter combines two processors on one board, and also has a modified cooling system.
Sapphire positions the video card as a device for miners. In Ethereum mining mode, the accelerator delivers performance at the level of 60 MH / s and consumes about 125 watts.
The video card is equipped with an HDMI output, which potentially allows you to use it for games.
Two radiators (one for each GPU) with heat pipes and a pair of large fans are responsible for cooling the video card. The card also has a 256-bit bus and 16 GB of GDDR5 video memory.
It is not yet clear whether the novelty will appear on sale outside of China. But even there it is quite expensive - about $ 850 (over 62 thousand rubles). Perhaps the conditional Radeon RX 570 Dou (the name is still unofficial) is designed to solve the problem of miners, whose activities are banned in China.
