Minecraft introduces a new subscription system on its marketplace
Players of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition can now take advantage of a new service – Marketplace Pass. This service provides access to a variety of community-created content, including skins, adventure worlds, mini-games, and more. For $3,99 per month (price may vary by region), users get access to a curated selection of the content they love.
In addition, subscribers receive exclusive Character Creator items every month that remain with them even after their subscription ends, although some may disappear. Marketplace Pass offers players the ability to discover and customize their subscription gaming experience.
There is also a Realms Plus subscription, which provides access to the marketplace, as well as the ability to create private servers to play with friends.
Getting the Marketplace Pass in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is easy: simply open the game, sign in to your Microsoft account, and head to the Marketplace section, where you'll find subscription options, including a 30-day trial for interested players. However, it's worth remembering that Marketplace Pass content is only available for compatible versions of Minecraft Bedrock Edition and is not compatible with Java Edition or Amazon Kindle Fire devices.
This is a great opportunity to access a variety of Minecraft content and support the creativity of creators, although some may feel that such paid services may have a negative impact on the self-regulation of the community.
