Elden Ring's false walls hide hidden areas
Elden Ring players have made a huge discovery on how to access secret areas throughout the map.
Since release, it has been suggested that Elden Ring contains "secret" areas behind false walls similar to Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
However, actual evidence of these rooms has been difficult to come by. That is, until some players made a major breakthrough and figured out how to access at least some of them.
"It Changes Everything"
YouTuber Iron Pineapple shared a clip of the player discovering the secret room, explaining that at least some of the "walls" require more than one attack to reveal themselves.
As you can see in the clip, for this the player had to land a couple of dozen hits, and only then the wall gave way. By our estimate, it took 50 sword hits to make her disappear.
However, if you don't want to waste time spamming random walls, there is an easier way to find hidden areas.
All you need to speed up the discovery process is a Ghiza wheel (AKA Pizza Cutter) that will give out hits automatically without having to spam any buttons. As you can see in the clip above, this makes the process much easier.
Now that the hidden rooms are known to exist, it remains to find all the walls that can be broken.
