How to find and knock over Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring

The Wandering Mausoleums (Walking Mausoleums) in Elden Ring are found in several places around the world. Below we tell you where to find each wandering mausoleum, how to get into it and what they are for.

Interearth Elden Ring filled with secrets, important landmarks and locations that will allow the extinguished to become much stronger as you progress through the game.

One such important point on the map is the Walking Mausoleums, which allow players to duplicate memories. Memories are in-game items that players receive after they have defeated one of the main bosses in the game.

These items allow players to get their hands on the weapons and spells that a particular boss uses, thus allowing your hero to replicate some of their move sets.

Since each boss has two specific items that players can obtain, and one memory can only earn them one of them, being able to duplicate it allows the Extinguished to get their hands on both of the boss's weapons once they cash it in Finger Maiden.

What's more, if the weapon isn't to their liking, players can always crush memories for additional runes that can help their characters level up.

Therefore, today's guide will talk about the Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring, and where the extinguished can find them in the Interearth.

Note: There are two types of mausoleums in the game world: with and without a bell. The former allow you to double the memories of any bosses, and the latter only allow you to double the memories of some optional opponents, for example, the Lich Dragon Fortisax, Astel the Voidborn, or the Spirit of the Majestic Ancestor.

Where to find all Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring

There are a total of seven mausoleums in Elden Ring and they can be found in the following locations:

Wandering Mausoleum 1: weeping peninsula

Players encounter the first Walking Mausoleum very early in the game and it can be found on the Weeping Peninsula. When the hero enters Limgrave, at the beginning of the location, a path opens to the south, crossing the bridge to a new location.

There, in the middle of the Weeping Peninsula, there will be a large open field in which the first Mausoleum was found.

Wandering Mausoleum 2: Lake Liurniя

The next Mausoleum is located in Lake Liurnia and can be found near places of grace Raya Lukaria Crystal Tunnel and East Gate of Raya Lukaria. It's very close to Raya Lukaria Academy and it's quite hard to miss if players keep making their way north of the region.

Wandering Mausoleum 3: The peaks of the giants

Reach or teleport to the place of grace "Castle Sol Main Gate", which is located in the Giant's Peaks. You can get here in the second half of the game using Rold's Big Lift. The mausoleum wanders right next to the "bonfire", so you can easily find it.

The growths will need to be destroyed on the legs of the mausoleum. It does much more damage than previous walking fortresses, but its attacks can be easily dodged. When the building falls, enter it and duplicate the memory. If the desired option does not appear, then try updating the location and scrolling the time at the place of grace.

Wandering Mausoleum 4: The peaks of the giants

To search for the next wandering mausoleum, the Extinguished One will again have to return to the region referred to as "The peaks of the giants».

Teleporting to the place of grace"Renegade Ruins» (northwest part of the area), turn right and ride your horse until you run into giant stone paws of a walking fortress.

Please note that the "castle" itself will be set up extremely hostile towards the character - the monster will not only try to trample the guest, but will also attack him magic projectiles. The growths, in turn, will be on the paws of the mausoleum.

Wandering Mausoleum 5: Lower deep root

The mausoleum is located very deep in the area. The Deeptroot Depths is one of the additional areas of the Interearth, and players will only be able to reach it after they defeat Radan and travel to Nokron, the Eternal City.

Wandering mausoleums without a bell 6: Lake Liurnia

Reach or teleport to the Mausoleum Grounds, located in the northeastern part of Lake Liurnia, and then start running north. To the east, by the way, is Raging Flame Village. Very soon you will see a walking castle. Start destroying the growths on his legs.

However, be careful, as this mausoleum will regularly jump, dealing massive shockwave damage to you, so try to run away from it to a safe distance when you see it is about to jump. After it collapses, go inside and duplicate the available memory.

Wandering mausoleums without a bell 7: Lake Liurnia

The path to the next wandering mausoleum will again lie through the place of grace "The territory of the mausoleum". Only in this case, the Extinguished One will have to go in a southeasterly direction (if you navigate along the “Wandering Mausoleum [6]”, go due south).

Stumbling again on rocky slopes and a steep cliff, go down to approach the moving castle. However, here too get ready to jump from the side of the giant "monster". Wait for it to do its spooky action before trying to lower it for memory duplication.

How to get into the wandering mausoleums in Elden Ring by lowering them

That stop the wandering mausoleum, it is necessary:

  • get close to the walking fortress at close range;
  • find him growths (they will be located either on the back or on the paws of a giant monster);
  • destroy them (those on the back can be attacked with long-range weapons - such as a bow).
