How to Resurrect an Ally in Hyper Scape: Echoes, Cooldowns, Other
Hyper Scape, like almost every other battle royale these days, has a resurrection mechanic. However, it doesn't work at all like the others. Here's how Rebirth works in Ubisoft's Battle Royale.
No matter how good you are at Hyper Scape, you will die sooner or later. However, like most other battle royales on the market these days, Ubisoft's futuristic title has a respawn mechanic.
The "recovery" system works very differently from the genre's competitors. While this is most similar to Fortnite or Apex Legends, it's not quite the same because ultimately the defeated player still has a role to play in the revival.

If you haven't been to Neo Arcadia yet and want to know how the afterlife works in Hyper Scape, we've got a quick guide on how to play as Echo after you die and how you can get back to the action.
Playing like Echo in Hyper Scape
In Hyper Scape, when you die, you don't have to lay down like a lifeless piece of shit until your ally picks you up. You're still playing the game, but just like Echo.
Echoes in Hyper Scape have no health, are completely invisible, and can move normally. You can act as a scout for your still-living teammates, warning them of danger ahead. You can also ping weapons on the ground.
You cannot interact with the environment though. This means you won't be able to break the barriers yourself - you'll need your allies to bring them down so you can scout ahead. Until you respawn or your squad is destroyed, you will play as Echo.
Respawn in Hyper Scape at restore points
The Echo mechanic works in tandem with how respawning works in Hyper Scape. By alerting their allies to enemies ahead, they can better prepare for a firefight to bring you back to life.
When your ally kills an enemy, a restore point opens on the ground. This will allow you to revive as soon as you jump on him near an ally. Here is a summary of how it works:
- Kill an enemy to access their cooldown point.
- Bring Echo to a restore point.
- Initiate revival. This will take a little time, so be sure to protect your ally.
- After a while, your ally will return to battle.
You may need to throw weapons or hacks at them to help them get back on their feet, especially if the enemy they killed didn't have a lot of gear.
From there, you can play the game normally. If you respawn, be sure to try to get your hacks and weapons back to max power before you get into the showdown phase, so you have a better chance of taking the crown home.
