How to Unlock the Exotic Shotgun Duality in Destiny 2

There are a lot of new parts in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, including a new exotic shotgun called the Duality, but if you want to unlock it, you'll need to know how and what to do.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is the third major expansion added to the game, and in many ways it has revolutionized the game. This brought a lot of new content including locations, quests, equipment and of course weapons.
However, an exotic shotgun called the Duality is getting a lot of attention, and for good reason. It looks fantastic and impressive. But there is a small snag. This is not available to everyone, at least not immediately.

How to Get the Duality Exotic Shotgun
There are a lot of things to unlock in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and some are harder than others. Luckily, unlocking the Duality Exotic Shotgun is a snap.
First of all, you can purchase the Premium Battle Pass and unlock it immediately. You will also receive the Wild Hunt armor set and a 20% XP boost.
If you don't want to spend a single cent, you can unlock it with the standard Battle Pass. However, you will have to complete it until you reach rank 35, which may take some time. However, it should be pretty easy.
Duality Perks
The Duality Exotic Shotgun has two incredible skills. The first one is called “Compression Chamber” and the second one is called “On Black Wings”. Here is a summary of both of them:
- The compression chamber allows you to change the way the shotgun is fired. If you shoot from the hip, it will shoot shot in different directions. However, if you aim, a bullet will fire instead.
- Black Wings increases the player's damage accuracy and reload speed when they kill an enemy with a shot. Then, if you land an aimed hit with a bullet, the buff will last longer.
The benefits go hand in hand. Players can use them in unison to permanently activate the precision damage and reload speed buff. Duality already deals significant base damage, but the permanent buff makes it even better.
How to unlock the Duality Catalyst
Destiny 2 veterans already know that catalysts can be used to upgrade exotic weapons. Duality is no different. However, if you want to do this, you need to know how. Here is a summary.
- ➤Visit Banshee first.
- ➤You will then need to earn 300 points by winning Gambit and Crucible, or by completing the Nightfall Trial on Legendary difficulty or higher.
- ➤Finally, you need to defeat 50 Guardians with weapons and 100 enemies with bullets.
