How to upgrade Rasputin's Bunker in Destiny 2. Seraph Towers.
If you're wondering how to upgrade the Destiny 2 bunker, you're in the right place. Now that Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy is in full swing, you've noticed the focus on Seraph Towers and bunker leveling across the Bungie galaxy.
These bunkers are connected to the Destiny 2 Raising Our Defenses questline (which rewards with a seasonal artifact, Warmind Khanjali), and managing and leveling your bunkers effectively is the key to completing it.
So to save you some time, I've put together a Destiny 2 Warmind Bits quick guide to help you farm efficiently and level up the bunker as quickly as possible.
How to unlock Destiny 2 bunkers?
Although they are an integral part of the season, the bunkers have not been open since the start of the Season of the Worthy. In order to unlock them and the Seasonal Artifact, you need to start the Boosting Our Defense quest line.
To start raising our defenses, talk to Zavala in the Tower and then Ana Bray on Mars. Ana asks you to collect and generate some Orbs of Light before saying that you need to visit Rasputin. Rasputin rewards you with a seasonal artifact, the Warmind Khanjali, and then sends you to the EDZ to unlock your first bunker. Then you can start updating it.
How to Handle Destiny 2 Warmind Bits and Chipsets
First, you need to understand the new resources that you can use to upgrade bunkers: Warmind Fragments, Dusklight Shards, Legendary Shards, and Bunker Processor Packs. Warmind Bits are the lowest rarity of the currency. They are earned by completing all Rasputin bounties, finishing Legendary Lost Sectors, and participating in Seraph Tower events - more on that below. Additional Warmind Bits are awarded for completing certain triumphs in your collections.
On the other hand, encrypted bits cannot be created with a stack of warming bits. Instead, they earn from certain daily and weekly rewards and Legendary Lost Sectors. Once your bunker reaches at least 3 ranks, they can be used to purchase items from the weapon silo and to unlock events upon successful completion of the Seraph Tower.
And finally, you can earn Destiny 2 Chipsets by purchasing Bunker Upgrades, or by purchasing them separately for 500 Warmind Bits, five Legendary Shards, and 5000 Glimmer. Processors are the only way to rank up your bunker.
The grinding efficiency of Warmind Bit depends on your power level, but there is a way to speed up the process regardless of your method: Upgrading the Hopper. These updates:
- ➤Cost reduction level 1-3
- ➤Encrypted Warming Bits Level 1-3
- Warmind Bit Generation Tier 1-3
The best way is to buy all the tier 1 abilities by completing rewards until you reach power level 980. Once you reach the appropriate power level, you can confidently take on Destiny 2's Seraph Towers.
Although for those who are able to stockpile gear and reach higher power levels, the fastest way is to complete the legendary Lost Sectors. Currently, one Lost Sector per day is available: clear it after each reset. This exercise, with a recommended power level of 1000, is the most effective means of obtaining resources in combination with rewards. Keep in mind that due to the nature of the champions present, be careful with the gear you have equipped when the Unstoppable, Barrier, and Overload champions show up.
How to complete the Seraph Tower in Destiny 2
Seraph Towers are new events for this new season. They exist throughout the solar system and spawn cunning enemies at level 980. The main task is to protect the raised tower from invading enemies. When the tower is charged, the square around its base will glow. If there are any enemies inside, it will stop the progress. Successfully charging one of the towers spawns a series of orbs based on how well you defended the tower.
You have to throw these balls at the big orange sphere floating in the sky until it reaches the center of the event. When the orb touches the center, you will be rewarded with 14% progress towards fully charging the central Seraph Tower. Once this tower reaches 100%, champions spawn. Kill all spawned champions and you'll gain access to two chests: one that requires a Warmind Fragment to open. Even if you fail the event, the chest still spawns offering a small amount of Dusklight Shards.
