How to build a castle in V Rising: Gathering resources and upgrading the Heart of the Castle

The building mechanic is one of the most important in any survival game. V rising - not an exception. The player can build a large castle in which to store essentials. Unlike other games like Valheim, you can't just build a structure here.
This guide will help explain how to gather the right materials to lay the foundation of your castle and upgrade the Castle Heart.
How to build a castle in V Rising
In order to build a castle in V Rising, players will first need to collect a lot of stone to make stone dust and stone bricks.
The first thing players will want to do when building a castle is find the best place for your base, and then place the Heart of the Castle. As the name suggests, this is the center of your base and you cannot start building without it.
You can do this by pressing the "B" key, selecting the "Basics" tab, and then placing the Castle Heart on the ground.
Players will then need to do a few things in order to properly build the foundations:
- Lay the surrounding foundationby pressing B and selecting the 8 foundation blocks around the Castle Heart.
- Press "F" on the Lock Heart and place a Blood Essence in it.
Giving the Blood Essence to the Heart of the Castle will allow players to create walls and structures to actually start building the castle. While you can temporarily build walls out of wood, you will eventually need to use stone to fortify your castle.

Castle Expansion and Castle Heart Upgrades
Eventually, players will be able to build vast and imposing castles by upgrading the Castle Heart.
To unlock real castle upgrades, players will need to get the Castle Heart to level 2.
This requires 12 Copper Ingots and 12 Leather Items, which players can craft from Copper Knots and Animal Hides and then upgrade them at their respective crafting stations.
Assuming the players have crafted Wood Planks and Stone Bricks using Whetstone and Grinder, craft and re-place your castle's fortified walls and floors in the "B" menu.
From here, it's just a matter of gathering the proper resources to create the reinforced materials that will form the backbone of your castle.
