Due to the Holy Aura that surrounds this area, you will need to bring some Holy Resistance flasks so that you can safely search for resources. The enemies you'll want to look out for are paladins and wizards, as they have the best chance of dropping gold jewelry.

After Azariel is defeated, you can create Gold Bars by smelting Gold Ornaments in your castle's furnace. Each gold ingot requires eight brimstone and eight gold ornaments to craft, and once they've been formed, you'll be able to increase the effectiveness of your armor and weapons.
