How to defeat Dragonlord Placidusax in Elden Ring

Dragonlord Placidusax is a must-have badass boss in Elden Ring and is safely hidden away in the game. Here's how to find and defeat the two-headed dragon in Elden Ring.

Dragonlord Placidusax so secret that it is almost impossible to find it on your own. Moreover, it is activated after a certain sequence of actions. So, let's talk about everything in order!

Location of the Dragonlord Placidusax boss in Elden Ring

After talking with Melina in The tops of the giants we will be transferred to the area Crushed Farum Azura.

When you get to the bridge, look for its torn edge and a ladder leading down. You need to move right there.

The stairs will end with the entrance to the room under the bridge and the elevator. We go down the elevator down to the next location. Exiting the elevator, turn right:

Next, turn into the door on the right and exit into the light through the door on the left:

Come to the edge of the abyss and look down. We are interested in a small ledge to which you need to jump:

Further, your path will consist of many jumps, and you will find yourself on a fairly large platform, which does not seem to be anything unusual. You'll see some skeletons in the graves - position yourself over a noticeably empty grave that is missing a skeleton, and then lie down in it.

After watching the cut-scene, you will be teleported to the battle of the Dragon Lord Placidusax.

How to defeat the Dragonlord Placidusax boss in Elden Ring

Get ready, for this is going to be a tough fight. The dragon is greeted with lightning strikes from the heavens throughout the arena, so movement is the key to success. Moving from side to side, get to Placidusax, coming close. At this moment, strike his paws and urgently retreat. next to the monster, a lot of dangers await you, from its flapping of its wings to the discharge of fiery electricity into the character's head.

The secret to victory is to constantly move to the right, keeping your preferred distance from the dragon. If you constantly run in circles in one direction, the dragon will not have time to tuck behind you. When he starts to lag, close the distance while still running to the right and quickly kick his legs or tail several times. Do not linger next to him for more than 3 seconds, because he will punish you for being greedy and slow.

Soon the dragon will take off and dissolve. This is a very good time to call on the ashes of the spirit for help!

The second phase of the battle will begin. Your target does not change - these are his legs, but by no means his head. I won’t reassure you, but it’s not safe at your feet either. The creature turns its head and pours fire on the character like a flamethrower. Getting away from the attack is almost impossible. To do this, you must have an impressive supply of flasks to restore XP. At any convenient moment, heal and keep the character in good shape.

At about 30% XP, the monster will fly away and return, swooping down on you from a height. Dodge or die!

Then the light show will start Rammstein. This fight is a visual spectacle, that's for sure! Dodge falling attacks, don't get hit by the flames spewing from his heads, watch out for his electrified wing attacks, and keep moving. This will lead you to victory! To help you, we leave a video guide similar to our winning strategy:
