How to defeat the Rune Bear boss in Elden Ring

Rune Bear (runebear) is the boss in Elden Ring, which is a massive beast with a runic pattern on its chest. This is an optional boss, as players don't need to defeat him to advance in the dungeons, but you definitely need to see him at least once!

Elden Ring is home to many difficult bosses. Rune Bear (runebear) - another secondary boss, which many players are likely to encounter during their adventures in the game world.

Location of the Runebear boss in Elden Ring

The Runebear can be found in the lower levels of the Underground Cave. After jumping into the hole, players will find themselves in its lair, where the beast sleeps until you get close.

TIPS FOR MELSE COMBAT SPECIALISTS

The best strategy when fighting Rune Bear head-on is to get behind him if you can. Dodge his attacks and make your way to the rear, attacking as hard as you can, dodging forward whenever he swings or climbs up. Most of his attacks will pass over you if you're as close to him as possible, allowing you to deal a lot of damage at a convenient time between Bear's attacks. You can't dodge his attacks effectively in any other way, and blocking grants little stamina to attack later unless you use Ashes of War: Barricade Shield.

If you deal enough damage quickly, he will stagger, allowing you to attack multiple times before landing a finishing blow.

ADVICE FOR MAGES AND ARCHERS

As soon as we notice the enemy, we immediately call on demi-humans. The enemy uses sweeping attacks with a large radius, makes short lunges forward and pounces on the player. Helpers will distract the boss, and the player needs to deal damage from long distances and preferably from the back.

It is highly recommended to use a melee spell if you can and use the same strategy as melee players. Bow users will have to use a shortbow, dodge and shoot arrows point-blank.

Drop from the boss Runebear in Elden Ring

Rune Bear drops "Magic Dragon Talisman". after his defeat and 2600 Runes.

Coming out of the den of the defeated Bear and walking along the cliff to the forest ruins of demihumans, you will find a giant in the center of the ruined building. Killing him will "Staff of the Demihuman Queen"and nearby you will find "Crystal Shot". From now on, even a warrior can use spells.
