Walkthrough "Wings of Ten" Horizon Forbidden West
From Tilda's Mansion, quickly get to the Base. Everyone at the base mourns Varl's passing. In addition, Beta and GAIA are Zenith prisoners, and Regalla is going to destroy the Cotallo tribes and capture Hekarro. Nothing could have gone worse. But Aloy wants everyone to endure. Before getting ready for battle, Zo wants to talk to us. Use the east exit to go outside and meet up with Zo at the cliff, which gives a nice but unexpected turn of events.
Head back inside and head to the Manufacturing Terminal to create a Sunwing Override. Sunwing can now be redefined. Exit the base through the west side. Follow the main waypoint to climb the mountain. When you get to the top of the mountain, hide in the grass and sneak up on any Sun Wing to bypass it. While you're at it, scan it to add it to your machine directory. After overriding, mount it.
Now fly west to the main obvious waypoint and enjoy the scenery. At some point you will receive a new mission update from Tilda and the next objective will be pinned to the screen. As Tilda suggested, enter Longneck's area of effect. Once you're within Longneck's range, fly down and control Sun Wing to land safely on Longneck to complete the landing. Now redefine it.
Summon Sunwing to your position to travel to the next location. Flying on the back of the Sunwing, aim for the next main quest marker where we can collect the Horus Energy Cell. When you are within range of an energy cell, you will automatically be prompted to press to pick it up. Finally, fly to Memorial Grove.
Ends automatically when the next cutscene starts. It's time to finish Regalla! The fight of Regalla consists of three parts:
- At this stage, Regalla will try to deal with you with quick strikes. Dodge them, and when she recovers, attack her, prioritizing her elemental weaknesses, fire and plasma.
- At this point, stay crouched behind the wooden barricades and throw firebombs and arrows at her to weaken her, then use any arrows other than the elements she's strong at.
- During this final phase, her attacks will be very similar to the first. So, dodge as she rushes towards you at full speed and weaken her with firebombs and arrows.
Once Regalla is defeated, the game gives you the option to decide her fate: you can choose to spare her or kill her.
If you choose "Another Battle Ahead", Regalla will join Aloy and the others at the base. This will result in you NOT getting her bow, very rare and powerful with Precision and Strike-through arrows. If you choose "Your life ends here", Cotallo will kill her and Regalla's tyranny will be put to sleep. This will result in you getting her bow instead. This is the recommended choice, as her bow can make a difference in the remaining actions at the end of the game.
If you choose "It's not easy", Regalla will ask you to decide if you want to keep her alive or kill her, causing you to choose one of the two options above. Now that Regalla is gone, Sylens is forced to listen to Aloy.
