At the Computex 2019 conference, AMD presented, in addition to AMD Ryzen 3 processors, the Radeon RX 5700 graphics card built on the Navi architecture (with the new RDNA microarchitecture) and made using the 7 nm process technology.
The Radeon RX 5700 will arrive in July 2019. According to AMD, the RDNA microarchitecture shows 25% faster performance than GCN. In addition, the performance per watt is one and a half times better than the previous microarchitecture.
The Radeon RX 5700 will be the first GPU to support PCIe Gen4. At the conference, AMD compared the performance of the Radeon RX 5700 and the competitive RTX 2070 using the Strange Brigade game as an example. The AMD video card performed 10% better than the Nvidia GPU. Unfortunately, video cards have not yet been compared in other games.
The cost of the Radeon RX 5700 has not yet been announced. AMD is also gearing up to introduce other 5000 family graphics cards at E3 2019.
