Dota Underlords July 4 Update, UI Improvements, New Elements, and More

Dota Underlords just got a pretty solid update that adds a scoreboard and leaderboard to the game. They've added some UI improvements, tweaked how gold wins and losses work, and now they've added some new elements! Check out the full patch notes below.

MAIN CHANGES

GENERAL:
  • Added score table. On computers, by default, open with the Tab key.
  • Added by leaderboard. Greetings Lords of the White Spire.
  • Increased field lighting.
  • Update text added to the game client.
  • Season Info: Hero abilities now have a damage type.
  • New kill streak effects.
  • Now the voice acting has a position in space (the sound comes from the location of the creature).
  • Added new sounds for combat.
  • Yo, Reddit: Enemy, round start and end screens are now closed when you click outside the UI or press the Esc key.
  • Yo, Reddit: The enemy, round start and end screens are no longer shown when the player is dragging a creature or item.
  • Lots of interface improvements.
  • Added a description of how the hero pool works in the Season Info menu.
  • Changes to stats from base items are now displayed both during preparation and during combat.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Terrorblade Rank 2 or 3 did not change their model when using Metamorphosis.
MOBILE DEVICES:
  • Added battery status.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the continue/pause buttons to disappear.
  • Added an option to move by clicking (for those who prefer to click on the right place, rather than dragging creatures and items).
  • Added power saving mode.
  • Hero abilities can now be viewed in the store.
  • Performance has been improved again.
GAME PROCESS:
  • Fixed a bug due to which demon hunters did not hunt demons, which is why the alliance effect worked for them.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Miners they put the bomb in the wrong place.
  • Fixed all known AI bugs with pathfinding.
  • 9 Level: Tier 2 creature chance reduced from 30% to 25%, Tier 3 creature chance increased from 25% to 30%
  • 11 Level: Tier 1 creature chance increased from 10% to 13%, Tier 2 creature chance increased from 15% to 20%, Tier 3 creature chance decreased from 30% to 25%, Tier 5 creature chance decreased from 15% to 12%
  • The round now lasts an additional second after the death of the last creature in one of the teams, so that a tie can be forced.

Reworked winning and losing streaks:

  • Gold for losing streak.
      • It was:
        • 3-4 defeats - 1 gold;
        • 5-6 defeats - 2 gold;
        • 7 or more losses - 3 gold.

    After:

      • 3-4 defeats - 1 gold;
      • 5 or more losses - 2 gold.
  • Gold for winning streak.
      • It was:
        • 3-4 wins - 1 gold;
        • 5-6 wins - 2 gold;
        • 7 or more victories - 3 gold.

    After:

      • 3-4 wins - 1 gold;
      • 5-6 wins - 2 gold;
      • 7 wins - 3 gold;
      • 8 wins - 4 gold.
  • The win streak ends after eight wins.

Item Changes:

  • Added Staff of Impact: Tier 3 Support Item - Pushes an enemy unit 6 squares in a random direction (Cooldown: 10 seconds).
  • Added by Wise Cult Scythe: Tier 4 Support Item - When the wearer takes damage, the offender turns into a pig for 4 seconds (Cooldown: 15 seconds).
  • Added by Big deal: Tier 2 Support Item - Adds the wearer to the Blood-Blood alliance.
  • Consolation prize got a new description - “Gains 1 charge when you win a combat. If you lose and the item has charges, it grants 1 gold and loses 1 charge."
  • Shaman's Courage: Chance increased from 5% to 17%.
  • Jump Dagger
    • Grants 50 mana when cast.
    • Cooldown reduced from 60 to 15 seconds.
  • Fangs and claws: The effect now stacks correctly.
  • Coordinated attack became really coherent, because now this item really works.

Hero Changes:

  • Jellyfish:
    • Fan shot:
      • Item effects now work on additional targets.
  • Lycanthrope:
    • Summon Wolves:
      • The health boost now works properly.
  • Venomancer:
    • Health increased from [500/1000/2000] to [550/1100/2200]
    • Plague Totem:
      • The number of totems summoned has been increased from 1 to [1/2/4].
      • Now the totem always has 1 rank.
      • Cast delay reduced from 0,5 to 0,13 seconds.
      • Cooldown increased from 5 to [5/6/7] seconds.
      • Totems now have 50% magic resistance.
  • Disruptor:
    • Alliance affiliation changed from strong and shaman on strong, shaman and warlock.
    • Static Storm:
      • Now also blinds enemies with a 25% miss chance.
  • Mister Warlock:
    • Shadow Word:
      • Cast delay reduced from 0,5 to 0,4 seconds.
      • Cooldown reduced from 20 to 6 seconds.
      • Damage reduced from [100/150/200] to [50/100/150].
      • Heal reduced from [75/150/200] to [50/125/175].
      • Duration reduced from 6 to 3 seconds.

Alliance Changes:

  • Warlocks:
    • New effect: when Warlock casts an ability, it is for 3 sec. Forms a bond with the ally with the lowest health. Any damage dealt by one of the linked heroes heals both of them for [50/100/150]% of the damage dealt.
  • Shamans:
    • Effect now requires 3 shaman (instead of 2).
    • New Effect: Cursed, Silenced, and Stunned Enemies gain -200% Mana for Damage Taken.
