Destiny 2: Season of Dawn - Everything You Need to Know
On their stream, Bungie revealed a bunch of new information about Season of Dawn in Destiny 2. The developers shared a trailer that gives a sense of the story and explained some of the smaller details. During the stream, Bungie also showed off the content calendar for the new season, showing gamers a lot of what's coming when the new season kicks off on December 10th.
The first thing that becomes clear is that at the moment Saint-14 still dead. Players have to resurrect a strong titan who is in trouble.
Season history Dawn starts right where the current season ends, season Immortality. In the outgoing timeline, players have taken on the Vex, the doom time-traveling robots, to stop them from invading the moon. The victory over the Vex ruined time on Mercury, another place where robots conduct major operations. The Cabal used time travel technology to try and undo their loss to the Red War, which was at the center of the story campaign. vanilla destiny 2
"Fix the timeline" was the slogan Bungie used to describe the season in the first place. Dawn, and for that, it looks like you'll be helping Mercury's Guardian protagonist, Osiris, activate some key artifacts. These are four obelisks located on different planets of the solar system. You will also work through a new six player activity called Sundialto protect the timeline from Cabal interference. Along with this, you will also travel back in time to save the legendary guardian, Saint-14, from death at the hands of the Vex.
Season calendar
The Bungie Seasonal Calendar details what we can expect from December 10 through March as the Dawn draws to a close. In activity Sundial there are a number of boss enemies that will unfold over time, as well as a legendary difficulty version that will require you to create your own team rather than relying on yourself. The calendar also notes that two new Exotic weapon quests will arrive in January and the dates for the next two Destiny 2 seasonal events: The Dawning, the Destiny 2 holiday event on December 17, and Crimson Days - Valentine's Day event on February 11.
New Artifact
In the new season Lamp of Osiris will replace the Eye of the Gate Lord. There are some changes to how the artifact works:
- special ammo against warriors is located in the first column (this season, these mods will be on ranged guns)
- improved perks will contain not only chargers, but also other types of perks
- list of highlighted modifiers:
- Unstoppable Burst: Unstoppable Pulse Rifle Ammo
- Anti-Barrier Ranger: Anti-barrier rounds for bows, scout rifles and pulse rifles
- Guardian Angel (4 energies): Chance to create Healing Spheres on precision kills with Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Bows, and Linear Fusion Rifles
