Destiny 2: New Xenophage Quest, PvP Mode, Dungeon and Festival of the Lost

Destiny 2 Halloween Event Festival of the Lost approaching, we are waiting for the start of the event on Tuesday, October 29th. But that's not the only new content coming into the game next week. Season Pass holders will also have access to a new dungeon as part of the expansion Shadowkeepand also to a new exotic weapon quest - this time to earn Xenophage.

Bungie gave some new details about the upcoming content this week on their blog. It includes a look at an exotic machine gun, but carries very little information about what the quest will entail or how you can start it. We know this will be exclusive to Shadowkeep owners (sorry Guardians who have joined the new free version of Destiny 2).

In addition to Xenophage, a new dungeon (29-player raid) will also be added on October XNUMXth. It's kind of like the Shattered Throne in the Dreaming City. Apparently, access to the new zone will require a conversation with Eris Morn on Tuesday.

Changes are also coming to the Crucible with a new PvP mode dubbed momentum control. The developers have listed some of the features of this mode:

  • Instant Respawn Time
    • ➤Get out of combat? No problem; come right back
  • Weapon Damage Increased
    • ➤Higher combat lethality
    • ➤Everything in your arsenal is a rival
  • Ability Regeneration Requires Effort
    • ➤Defeat enemy players to charge up your melee, grenade and super
  • No Tracker
    • ➤Sneak around your enemies to the flanks
  • Enhanced Control
    • Zones capture faster and give more bonus points for killing
  • Charged Supers
    • ➤Increased damage resist in super means you become a 1000lb gorilla
    • ➤Be careful because heavy weapons will put you down quickly
  • The heaviest of ammunition
    • Increased heavy ammo respawn rate and number of drops

Today we have a video guide to Xenophage, tomorrow we will write out the steps of the quest in detail

That's pretty much everything detailed in the Destiny 2 content calendar. We'll have Festival of the Lost guides, an exotic quest Xenophage and a new dungeon shortly after their launch.
