- Season 14 kicks off May 11 and will be called "Season of the Collectives".
- This will be a season dedicated to the Vex. The storyline will focus on the Vex and their hold on Stasis. The main antagonist will be the Mind of Kronos, who revealed the secret of the Vex paracausality, and also gave the Vex the opportunity to accept the forces of darkness.
- Vex Descendants and Vex Predecessors are the main threat. The minotaurs of these Collectives have new Stasis abilities similar to the captains from the House of Salvation. The Vex are the first enemy race other than the Fallen to master Stasis. This was previously hinted at by Luke Smith when he talked about how every enemy race would end up owning Stasis.
- The Descendants and Forerunners built massive Citadels on the Moon and the EDZ. The new seasonal activity will be an attack on these Citadels. The Invasion mode is a challenging arena in which we will have to stop the Vex collectives.
- The Invasion is a three-player challenge and will feature a reward system that is a mixture of Season of the Chosen and the Menagerie. The mode will allow players to choose as rewards the items they want to receive for using the "keys" in the end of the activity.
- The seasonal artifact is called Splintered Conflux. And the much-loved Oppressive Darkness mod is back.
- Seasonal weapons and armor will be themed to match the Forerunners or Descendants Vex style.
- There will be 3 new exotic weapons in the season. "Super Good Advice" returns from the first part. He will have a new exotic quest -Sanctimony. During the quest, we have to return to the Corridors of Time.
- Vex Mythoclast returns as a Crystal Hall Raid Exotic.
- The new seasonal exotic cannon will be the First Tempo energy linear plasma rifle. She can switch between two types of ammo. Some cartridges mark the enemy, followed by tracking and suppression. Other ammo increases damage when dealing consecutive crit shots. Killing suppressed enemies creates effects that pull nearby enemies towards you and blind everyone in range.
- A new dungeon will appear on Earth. It will be launched later in the season, and will serve as a kind of season finale, like the Arena of Proof raid.
- Kronus is the boss of the upcoming Dungeon. The events of which take place in the Citadel on the EDZ.
- The Crystal Hall is back, and players will have access to a small open area on Venus. It includes a short seasonal story about Atheon's resurrection, and how the Forerunners and Descendants figured out how to use the powers of paracausal stasis.
