Between the 2019 Fortnite World Champion Duo Aqua and a member FaZe Clan A new brawl broke out with Mongraal, with Aqua pouring a bucket of slop on his former partner, unaware that he was being broadcast.
Aqua and Mongraal played as a duo in 2020, playing the Contender Cash Cups and other tournaments in May, after which they decided to split up.
However, it seems that the relationship between them developed so-so. During a phone call on September 14, Aqua talked to friends about Fortnite.
As soon as the subject of Mongraal was brought up, Aqua began to lash out at his former partner.
“Oh shut up, I didn't want to play with Mongraal, he's shit. I don’t care anymore, he provoked me,” he said.
Then one of the streamers he was in touch with said they were live and Aqua immediately tried to back off. He begged them to take down the broadcast and restart the stream, but it had already spread all over the world.
The clip went viral in the Fortnite community, and Mongraal himself responded to Aqua's comments on Twitter.
“I can’t even put into words what the professional Fortnite scene is like,” he said.
“This video perfectly describes the community. In a group of friends, everything always happens behind your back, not directly in front of you. I haven't been in a friend group for over 3 months because the whole thing is crap."
Chapix and JannisZ, who were also part of the viral clip, also got into a fight on Twitter.
“The Fortnite community has always been like this. Everyone talks to each other nice and friendly, and completely different words sound behind their backs. We are all trying to play this game to make money, this is a business, not a friendship or anything like that,” Chapix said.
"No, you don't say that behind your back," retorted JannisZ.
Even the FaZe Clan account took part in the action by posting the iconic clip on Twitter "dance b*tch dancefrom the FNCS Trios back in 2019.
As Season 18 progresses, we can expect the rivalry to heat up.
