Golden weapons - similar to the red charges found in packs - are already built with attachments of the highest rarity, making them an extremely valuable set in combat.
In the next major update, the game developers have confirmed that replicators will have craftable weapons for the first time in history.
But for those players looking for the best tier loot available, there is five guns fully adorned in gold for the 12th season.
Apex Legends Season 12: Golden Weapon List
The following guns will appear as all-gold builds throughout Apex Legends Season 12:
- RE-45
- triple effect
- Peacemaker
- Prowler
- Chaos
Each of them can be found in the form of ground loot or in loot bunkers, which will be scattered across the active maps: Olympus and the Place of the Storm.
The former has been around since Season 7, although fans can expect to see a long list of map changes when they download the game after February 8, including new attractions.
A new piece of terrain has been added to Olympus.
Members of the Apex community will need to determine the best landing spots on each of these battlegrounds as Season 12 progresses.
While major changes to Olympus have already been confirmed, fans will be hoping to cash in on the guaranteed gold mining spots on this map and be named Champions of the Apex Games.
