Everything We Know About Sprinter, Valorant's 18 Agent: Leaks, Abilities, Release Date

Details on Valorant's 18th Agent are slowly creeping up the web ahead of its 2022 release. Codenamed "Sprinter", he is reportedly from the Philippines and intends to bring pace and flair to the Earth of the future.

There is still a long way to go until the 18th Valorant agent arrives. However, this is the first time we've seen the mysterious figure, which is set to appear in episode 3, act 3 of the game!

Agent 18: Sprinter

• According to the ValorLeaks thread, there is not much information about Agent 18. Other than the obvious name attached to the line of code that marks it as "Sprinter". Of course, this does not reveal the character's official name. However, tagging the code as "Sprinter" gives an idea of ​​how the developers intend to customize the agent's gameplay in Valorant.
• In most tactical first-person shooters, running is not a priority; instead, characters must hold a melee weapon in order to gain the maximum speed boost. If "Sprinter" is any hint, then we may have the first agent capable of moving quickly, akin to Overwatch Soldier: 76, who has the Sprint skill.

Again, there is no official word on Agent 18 in Riot's press release, and what little information we have now may end up changing by the time new agents are released.

Whoever this agent is, don't assume you'll see him anytime soon because there's still one more launch to go before he hits the game. 

However, another teaser for Agent 18 dropped during the December 2021 Valorant Champions 12 finals, where a cryptic video of a female voice was shown during the break.

The blurry video included voice lines from the alleged new agent. “I will show them if I want. Enemies in our way? I hope they like being struck by lightning. Get ready, I'm going fast."

Also, with several of Chambers' lines suggesting a new agent is in Manila, Philippines, fans have decided that the last addition to the fight is likely to be a Filipino.

Riot doubled down on this by cheering in Filipino in their latest State of the Agents post on Dec. 23, as well as being slightly suspicious of how his kit would work.

“Next year is launching an agent that can get ahead of the rest by shocking competitors and jumping into action right away,” said character producer John Goskitsky.

18 Agent Valorant: release date

Following Riot's traditional release schedule, Agent 18 of Valorant will only release in Episode 4, Act 1, which is expected to release January 12 2022 years .
