While Valorant Agent 20 has yet to be officially revealed, early teasers and leaks have already surfaced online. Here's everything we know about a new character supposedly named "Fade" coming soon to Riot's tactical shooter.
As Riot Games' flagship FPS, Valorant, continues to flourish and expand its roster of agents, all eyes are on future additions to the ongoing battle between Earth and her mysterious mirror companion, Earth 2.
Because the demon of speed Neon is the last character to enter the fray, players are already speculating about who is next on the list. This will be the 19th playable character in Valorant, but is officially Agent 20 - since Agent 8 is a mystery.

Neon, was the latest agent to join Valorant's ever-expanding roster.
20 Valorant agent: Rumors and leaks
Before moving forward, you should note that there is a fairly long-standing mystery about Agent 8. As part of plans for the game's initial release, Agent has yet to see the light of day. However, Riot has made sure to keep the eighth slot open without having to address it further.
This caused some confusion about the numbering of pre-existing as well as upcoming agents. For example, despite being the eighteenth agent in the game, Neon's agent number according to Riot is 19. Likewise, it is highly anticipated that the upcoming nineteenth agent may very well be Agent 20 according to Riot.
After the release of colorful music video, showing the Korean duelist and the storm queen Jett, many began to assume that they had found a teaser for the nineteenth Valorant agent.
As Jett travels through the neon streets of the city, we see her run past an advertisement featuring a musician named "Victoria Vector", a blue-haired cyberpunk character who looks like she just stepped out of CD Projekt Red Cyberpunk 2077.
A quick Google search returns nothing for "Victoria Vector" and for many the ad seems to be a nod to the next Agent we'll see on Tomorrow Earth.
Victoria also appears on the gun skin undercity, whose 3D style encapsulates this colorful city in cosmetic form. This means that even if Victoria doesn't make it into the game as a playable character, she could still be crucial to the Valorant storyline.
В State of the Agents Developer UpdateMarch 28 didn't have a lot of information about the next agent's identity, but we got a few key clues.
The most obvious was the line "Herkesin bir korkusu var" at the very end, which means "everyone has a fear" in Turkish. This means that the next Agent of Valor could very well be from Turkey.
Just hours after the March 28 blog post and undoubtedly the biggest leak circulating on social media. The full list of claimed abilities has hit the internet and you can find the full breakdown below.
Weeks after the leak, on April 12, Valorant tweeted a short video depicting Cypher caught in the 'a trap of fear', possibly a representation of the Capture ability pictured in the March 28th leak.
Apart from the leaks that have surfaced so far, there are various beeps that can be heard when exploring the range.
Based on the sounds that can be heard, as well as the physical advertisements that have been found, it's very likely that the upcoming Agent will use fear to their advantage. To top it off, you can also see a strange shape appear on the ground after interacting with a locked door in the Range.
Also, the fact that a physical ad from Riot for the upcoming agent was seen in Turkey also makes us believe that the upcoming agent might be based in Turkey. After all, we have yet to see the first Turkish agent in Valorant.
With the latest leaks comes a purported name for the upcoming agent. The next Valorant Initiator goes by the name "Fade", according to ValueLeaks. It would seem that the leaked description of the character is as follows:
“Bury your fears or she will prey on them. Fade, Valorant's new Turkish agent, stalks his prey with equal parts terror and tactics. Go ahead, try to hide.
Valorant Agent 20: Abilities
Although we do not have the necessary amount of background information, the March report "Agent Statusgave us a good idea of what this unknown character would bring to the table in terms of abilities.
Valorant character producer John Goszicki said Riot's developers were toying with the idea of adding another Initiator like Owl.
“The notion of another agent that revolves around the intelligence gathering aspect of the tactical loop has been central to us for a while,” Gosicki wrote. "This next Agent should give you more... an intimate feeling when hunting enemies."
We also saw a lot of references to "fear" in the update, along with the Turkish line above, Gosicki mentioned being "afraid" of giving too many details. This could mean that Agent 20 will use some sort of fear mechanic, but it's too early to tell for sure.
Following this official information, a leaked screenshot may have revealed the full list of Agent 20's abilities. While there's no way to tell if this bundle is accurate, below is a suggested look at what the next character will bring to Valorant.

- C - Prowler: 300 credits
FIRE when equipped to send a creature that will travel in a straight line looking for enemies AND/OR Tracks. HOLD FIRE AND MOUSE MOUSE to direct the creature in the direction you are facing. When the creature finds a trail or an enemy, it will move towards them. Upon reaching an enemy, it will start a .5s cooking time and then NEARSIGHT closes the enemy for 3 seconds. Only one Creature can hook onto a TRAIL at any time.
- Q - Withdrawal: 200 credits
EQUIP the ball. FIRE to throw the ball. The balloon will travel in the air for a maximum time of ??. before falling to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, it will become stuck in place and begin to cook for 0,5s. After 0,5s, the zone will expand to 7m and all captured enemies will be locked to the center. Tethered enemies take 75 decay damage, are stunned, and cannot leave the area normally for 5 seconds. Can be re-activated mid-flight to drop earlier.
- E - Ghost
This ability equips the orb. FIRE to throw the ball. The ball will travel in the air for a maximum time of 1,5s before falling to the ground. Once it hits the ground, it rises back up and transforms into an Eye that can be destroyed. If thae Eye sees enemies, it will REVEAL them and apply a TRAIL debuff that lasts 12 seconds. Can be reactivated mid-flight to drop the projectile earlier.
- X - Twilight
EQUIP this ability. FIRE to send a wave of the gift of mist. If the fog comes into contact with an enemy, it will be LAGGING, DEEP AND DECEPTED for 12 seconds.
Valorant Agent 20: Release date
In the past, a new act has always meant a new card or agent, but in the case of Act 4 of the second episode of Valorant, this will not happen. However, fans have noticed a physical advertisement from Riot for an upcoming agent from Turkey. The advertisement read: "Çok Yakında", which roughly translates to "very soon" or "very close".
Having said that, Riot confirmed that there will be no major new content in the next act, instead the main focus will be on improving "the health of our game».
So if we expect to see Victoria in the future, she will most likely accompany either Act 3 (although a new map is more likely) or the next Episode launch.
So that's all we know about Valorant so far.
