Information found in the game files suggests that Apex Legends will soon launch on Steam. The creators of the game also included a nod to the portal players.
Now Apex Legends only available on Origin. However, some information appearing on the internet suggests that the game may be coming to Steam soon.
Last year, EA Vice President Mike Blank in interview talked about the release of several multiplayer games, including Apex Legends On Valve platform . Since then, the topic has not surfaced.

GLaDO in Apex Legends
The file is called "v_charm_valve_potato" and is a clear reference to the series Portal and his GLaDO (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System). GLaDOs controls the entire facility, accompanies the player through almost the entire gameplay, and ends up being something completely different than what we expected at the beginning.
