Season 9 Legends Tier List by Role: Apex Legends Legacy
Season 9 of Apex Legends brought a lot of changes to the Legends meta, so let's see who dominates in terms of their qualities and abilities in Legacy Season.
Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy returned on May 4th, giving players a few weeks to adjust to the changes and updates. With that said, let's take a look at how the Legacy patch changed the Apex Legends meta in our Apex Legends character tier list.
Together with arenas , barrel bow , infected Olympus and return cards"The end of the world" , Legacy Season also brought a lot of changes to the game in the patch notes.
Patch "Heritage" not only implemented improving the quality of life , weapon changes and general bug fixes/improvements. There have also been some changes made to many legends that have changed the meta list and tier list from season 8.
We thought it would be great to compile the legends and show what we think the top list would look like, showing how much the stats have changed.
Keep in mind that this list is based on the legend's performance in battle royale mode, not the new 3v3 arena mode.
Level system:
- Legends S-level – the best
- A Tier great on their own
- Legends B-level just something is missing
- C Tier are the legends that need the buff

Best Legends in Apex Legends Legacy
Best Intelligence Legend - Valkyrie
Valkyrie is Apex Legend's latest character, and while she's been gone for a long time, players are already realizing just how powerful she is.
The Valkyrie has excellent offensive abilities due to her tactical and passive ability to fly and stun people when they either try to run or hide. These abilities are also great when you're also on the defensive, being able to easily dodge unwanted combat with VTOL thrusters and prevent opponents from pushing you with a missile swarm.
Also, her perfect Skyward Dive is arguably the best rotation tool in the game right now, pushing back Octane's pad. This ultimate is great for determining where enemy teams are, as Valkyrie's passive skill includes the ability to scan and highlight enemies in her line of sight while skydiving.
Best Offensive Legend - Wraith
Wraith is once again the strongest offensive Legend in Apex Legends. Ghost has always been a meta due to her extremely useful tactics and ult.
Changes to her hitbox and low profile have held her back in recent seasons. However, when the developers finally decided to remove Low Profile from the game, Wraith was back on top.
Wraith's ability to duck in and out of battle with her Into the Void tactic is extremely useful in battle royale, boosting her survivability as a teammate. In addition, Rifts are one of the best late-game rotation tools, allowing her and her team to safely get into better positions.
Best Support Legend - Loba
Loba has gone through some pretty rough times since her introduction in Season XNUMX as her tactics, being Burgler's best friend, have not been as strong as they should be. The Support Legend has gone through a lot of changes in the past, mostly for the better, and this season Loba is in the best shape she's ever been.
Her tactics are much better on all maps, working as they should without accidental cancellation. The time it takes to enter and exit a tactical area after landing has been greatly reduced, making it much more agile than it was before.
Finally, the ability to provide a team with endless loot, most importantly consumables, ammo, and whatever the players need is useful and means you'll get exactly what you need in every game, increasing your chances of winning.
Best Defensive Legend – Gibraltar
Gibraltar is a legend that has remained at the top of the lists since the game's release, being a staple of just about every team on ALGS tournament . Gibraltar is by far the strongest defensive character in the game, with all of his abilities helping the team on defense and being able to be used offensively.
His Defense Dome is probably his most important piece of equipment, allowing the team to push back or defend against an attack with the protection it provides. Also, what makes it even more useful is the faster Gibraltar respawn that teammates can perform while inside the dome.
Gibraltar's ultimate, Defensive Bombardment, is also great for stopping the enemy's onslaught and being aggressive, dealing massive damage to those caught in it. His passive is also great for dealing with enemies, especially in 1v1 situations as his weapon shield gives him extra health.
That's it for our Legends tier list for Apex Legends Season 9 Season 9.
