There are many steps in the Veil Divider journey as part of the Golden Shores. The first task will be to read the magazine and find out where the Magpie Wing sank. The place you are looking for is between Fort Old Boot и Shell shoal in the coordinate N13.
When you reach the uncharted island, start searching underwater for the Magpie Wing Wreck. Having found it, dive into the captain's cabin and find the ship's log. After he rises, additional pages will appear in the main quest diary.
Read the ship's log and track Magpie Wing's journey through the Sea of Thieves. The directions in the ship's log are random, so the itinerary I got may not match yours. You will need to follow the steps exactly. Once you have found the island where the ancient chest was thrown overboard, swim to the said island and retrieve the chest. This chest will contain a map and a totem (item). Don't lose the totem or the quest will fail and you'll have to start over.
Examine the log again to see the map, which is just an outline of the islands. Use the map on your ship to find out which island lies in the center. As it turns out, this island curving hollow and now go there.
Once on the island, look for a waterfall and go into it, inside, start looking for a place where you can use the totem from the chest. You will be looking for a symbol on the wall that matches the totem. If you have the Scarab Totem, you need to find the Scarab Glyph. Look for a small depression to place the totem and open up the cave.
Inside the cave is a large flat altar with a brazier in each corner (4 in total). Light all four braziers with the lantern and press the button to start the next puzzle.
Water will start pouring out of one of the stone heads. Your task will be to use the journal to enter the correct code using the rotating blocks against the walls. Approach the blocks and interact with them to spin it. Make sure all characters match what is in the log and click the button. Repeat this process until you have entered all codes.
At this point, the image will appear on a pedestal in the center of the room. This image will show the location on or around the island you are currently on. Find the location depicted and dig up the medallion or pick it up. Return the medallion back to the storage and place it in the plinth. Repeat this process two more times.
Next story Cursed Traveler located here!
After placing all three medallions in the plinth, the wall will move, revealing the Curtain Divider. Take it, return to any outpost and give it to the Mysterious Stranger at the tavern. He will tell you that Veilbreaker is missing some gems and that perhaps Madame Olivia of the Outpost Robbers knows where to find Captain Briggsy, who, according to rumors, still made it to the Gold Coast.
