Starfield Will Get A Pleasure City Where You Can Eat Psychotropic Fish

Bethesda has revealed several locations we can visit in Starfield.

Bethesda has revealed three locations that players will eventually be able to visit in Starfield. The announcement is short "Location Analysis" videos showcasing various locations along with commentary from Design Director Emil Pagliarulo. They were part of the Starfield Constellation reveal group, which is getting early access to news and updates about the game.

Because these videos are for Constellation members only, you can't find them without a YouTube link. But it turns out these links are now available everywhere, so you can check them out below.

New Atlantis is the capital of the United Colonies, the most powerful faction in the game in terms of political and military power. Like most metropolitan areas, New Atlantis is home to many races, creeds and nationalities. According to Pagliarulo, it is "a true reflection of the future of our world."

Akila City is the capital of the Free Star Collective, which is a loose confederation of three star systems. Although not as vibrant as New Atlantis, it is a paradise for those who believe in the sanctity of personal freedom and individuality. The city is surrounded by a wall due to dangerous predators known as Ashta, which Pagliarulo describes as "a cross between a wolf and a velociraptor".

And finally, Neon is where the galaxy goes on a spree. It was originally built by a large corporation as a fishing platform in the aquatic world, but turned into a center of entertainment and pleasure after the discovery of fish with psychotropic properties. In the end, the corporation realized that the drug made from this fish, Aurora, could bring them much more money than fishing. People from all over the world come to Neon to enjoy this drug, as it is banned everywhere.

While we won't see Starfield until the last quarter of next year, it's been highly anticipated since it was first announced. The first reveal trailer at E3 gave us a glimpse of what the game will look like. Bethesda Senior Lighting Artist Keith Beltramini revealed that it was created entirely in-game, without any cinematic tools.

Apparently, the announcement was quite popular as the trailer got 7,4 million views in less than a week.
