Rockstar Employee Spoke About 'Unannounced Titles' Amid GTA 6 Rumors
Fans have unearthed several new clues pointing to Grand Theft Auto 6 as the buzz around the yet-to-be-announced game grows to gigantic proportions.
Rockstar Games has yet to officially announce the next entry in the GTA series, but that hasn't stopped fans from digging into the company's developers to see what they're working on.
More evidence has now been found that GTA 6 is in development along with at least one other project that has yet to be revealed.
On LinkedIn, fans noticed the page of Rockstar Leeds senior designer Ian Gander. According to him profile , he worked at Rockstar for almost 10 years, where he worked on GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
His profile specifically states that he helped "in the development and implementation of various missions and game features".
However, eagle-eyed fans found something else in his account. In addition to Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead, he has also worked as a designer on Unannounced Titles: TBC.
The acronym "TBC" usually means "confirm or continue", so it's entirely possible that these projects have either been canceled by Rockstar or haven't been announced yet.
The latest game in the series was also released on PS3 and Xbox 360.
However, the fact that there are multiple titles on the list is certainly an interesting twist considering how few games the company releases.
Of course, while it's possible it's not even related to GTA 6, given the success of GTA V and Online, it seems silly that Rockstar wouldn't have people who have worked on other games in the series to develop the next installment.
This isn't the first time a Rockstar employee has posted an unannounced title on their Linkedin. Previously, Sarah Overend, gameplay and weapon animator for Red Dead Online, also listed the name TBA on her profile.
Hopefully we'll get news soon and the announcement will come sometime in 2021. We still have reports of GTA V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series coming out this year, but ideally we'll get some GTA 6 news soon after.
