“Our origin trilogy told the story of Lara's early days as she evolved into a survivor, a hero and eventually a tomb raider, while the classic games had a seasoned and competent adventurer. We envision the future of Tomb Raider unfolding after these established adventures, telling stories based on Core Design and Crystal Dynamics games while working to bridge those timelines,” said Kerslake.
“Given the vast history of Tomb Raider, this is not an easy task and we ask for your patience as the development progresses. We have no plans for a major game announcement in the near future.”
In the meantime, we have There is an animated series Legendary coming to Netflix . It follows the Tomb Raider trilogy, which means it takes place after the events of Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
