Shrek Moves to New Swamp - Hunt: Showdown Update Includes Replica of His House
Travel deep into the new map for Hunt: Showdown and you will stumble upon the legendary Shrek's hut.
Hunt: Showdown recently added the DeSalle map to its monster-infested world, giving players - and monsters - a whole new place to explore. It turns out that one of DeSalle's monsters may already be familiar to players, as a near-perfect replica of Shrek's cabin has been discovered in its marshy foothills.
Discovered by streamer JackFrags, house very similar the one seen in all the Shrek movies. With an iconic vault toilet, plenty of chairs in the yard, and a towering spire, the house can't be mistaken for anything other than Shrek's home. The only bad news is that Shrek and Donkey are nowhere to be found.

If you're not familiar with Hunt: Showdown, the game is a PvPvE FPS - meaning you compete against other players to hunt down an NPC's target. The DeSalle map was recently added on July 9th with 16 new connections and breathed new life into the multiplayer mode. Prior to DeSalle, the Beast Hunter DLC was added to the game, adding several new weapons and a legendary hunter.
It is unlikely that we will ever really We'll see Shrek wandering the DeSalla swamps, but no doubt there are many other secrets on the new map just waiting to be discovered.
