Updated: Fortnite servers have returned to a fully functional state.
Epic Games servers suffered a major outage for the second time this week, leaving Fortnite unusable.
The outage occurred around 19:45 (UTC), leaving millions of players around the world unable to log into Fortnite or, for those on PC, unable to open the game. According to the Epic Games Public Status website, Fortnite game services, login, parties, friends, messaging, voice chat, matchmaking, stats, leaderboards, item shop, and team are suffering from an outage that has been flagged as "major". The Fortnite website is the only element of the game that remains functional.
The server freeze comes just two days after Epic shut down the entire Fortnite server for eleven hours "due to an issue" right before the v22.10 update. As of now, Fortnite players are still unable to access the game. We will keep you posted on our pages once the login process is back up and running.
