Riot Unveils Two League of Legends Games for PlayStation, Xbox and Switch

Riot Games is set to expand its League of Legends story with two new games titled CONV/RGENCE and Song of Nunu coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.

Two beloved League of Legends champions, Ekko and Nunu, are getting their own game from independent developers Double Stallion Games and Tequila Works, respectively.

These will be the next two releases of Riot Forge, the company's initiative to tell more stories about Runeterra by independent developers. The games follow two of Forge's premier games, Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem, which were released on November 16.

Soon, League of Legends fans new and old alike will be able to experience the worlds of Zaun, as well as the Freljord, when 2022 rolls around.

Song of Nunu release date, trailer, platforms

Song of Nunu coming to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG in 2022.

Nunu is looking for her mother and travels through Freilord with her best friend Willump in a story-driven adventure game.

Players will explore Freylord's icy tundra while encountering League of Legends characters such as Lissandra.

CONV / RGENCE release date, trailer, platforms

CONV / RGENCE will launch on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG in 2022.

A XNUMXD side-scrolling platformer featuring Ekko and the vast world of Zaun. Its Zero Drive lends itself to gameplay mechanics that rewind time to solve different segments.

Riot first gave us a sneak peek at Ekko's upcoming adventure in 2019, but fans have finally gotten a glimpse of how the game will play out.

League of Legends game teaser in Demacia

The Riot Forge Showcase Nintendo Direct on November 16 caught a glimpse of another League of Legends Demacia story yet to be revealed.

Each project in Direct was represented by a beam of light emanating from a specific region on the Runeterra map.

The presentation concluded with a beam from Demacia that could hint at anyone's backstory, such as Silas, Jarvan IV, Garen, and Lux.

Riot Games

A shot from the Direct shows the Citadel of Dawn seconds before the arcane explosion breaks the bonds surrounding the city.

Many notable League of Legends champions hail from Demacia, including the likes of Cale, Lucian, Fiora, Xin Zhao, and Vayne.

The game will be Riot Forge's fifth project to be released since the launch of the publishing label in December 2019. Other beams of light came from Shurima, as well as from the land between Noxus and Demacia.
