Escape from Tarkov Devs Are Giving Players Huge Compensation For Server Issues
Battlestate Games is rewarding players with 1 million in-game rubles after Escape from Tarkov experienced several server issues during the February 8 weekend.
Taking to Twitter, the Russian studio apologized to the players for having to deal with "unstable server performance". They announced that the players would receive a million rubles as compensation.
“This letter is stored in the game mail for 48 hours from the moment you enter the game,” the company explained in a subsequent response.
Players will receive a compensation email within the next three days, which means that all compensation must be sent by February 13th.
Battlestate has apologized and stated that they are working tirelessly to improve the gaming experience. They noted, however, that this is not always their fault, implying that other companies may have been responsible for server issues.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding,” they concluded.
However, for a beta game, the developers of Escape from Tarkov are trying their best to appease players who may have experienced some discomfort due to server issues.
Many players have been very accommodating to this announcement, such as AviusL: “Thank you for updating us so quickly every time there is an issue. Very grateful."
Twitch Streamer JERICHO also responded nicely, stating that he would go shopping.
Others, however, have complained that the server issues are still ongoing and have speculated whether the developers will be giving players another one million rubles in the next few days on top of what they have already offered as compensation.
Escape from Tarkov has become one of the most popular Twitch games of 2020, but these glitches could seriously hurt success if the game continues.
However, if you can get online, don't forget to claim your $XNUMX million if you can, as all that money could come in handy when the servers get back up and running.
