Fortnite Developer Hints Cobra Toss Snake Eyes Collaboration May Be In Development

Fortnite developer Donald Mustard has revealed some clues about upcoming content, and a conveniently placed JoJo action figure has convinced some players that a collaboration with Cobra Rush might be on the radar.
Fortnite is no stranger to collaboration and innovation. This is a game that knows no boundaries and has clashed with other characters and universes including Batman, John Wick, Marvel and Star Wars.
Donald Mustard, creative director at Epic Games, has been hinting at future content in recent weeks. In an interview with Marvel's "This Week In Marvel" podcast, he let slip that Fortnite and Marvel will cross paths again and again.
However, that doesn't seem to be all he has planned. He previously took part in an extended interview with video game journalist Geoff Keighley and shared some creative hints for future content.
Donald Mustard scattered evidence around his room
Donald Mustard used a webcam during a Zoom call. Naturally, this means that the audience could see the room he was in. However, instead of covering things left, right and center, he accepted it and decided to play the game - the lunatic scattered clues around the room hinting at future content.
“It was SO fun and SO inspiring!” he said. “It's great to talk to a bunch of great people who all LOVE the art of gaming! Trying to count how many keys to the future I have hidden in the back of my office,” he added.

Fortnite players rushed to find clues. There were many details in the shot, including a sofa, a table, an exercise bike, and paintings on the wall.
However, one item stood head and shoulders above the rest. He conquered popularity in social networks and convinced that Fortnite could cross paths with another popular American hero, G.I. Joe.
There is a lot hidden in the background, including a poster for Star Trek: Into Darkness. However, only one thing sticks out like a sore thumb; Snake Eye figure from the revived G.I. Joe franchise.
Snake Eyes is an important member of the GI Joe team. He is also one of the most popular characters in history and has been featured in every G.I. Joe movie and TV series.
Interestingly, a spin-off film entirely dedicated to him, called "Snake's Eye", as reported, in preparation for release in 2021. If anything, it makes a potential Fortnite-GI Joe collaboration even more plausible.
However, not everyone is sure. Some players hope and believe that Fortnite will cross paths with Star Trek instead.
It is also possible that both of them will come into play at different points in time. After all, Donald Mustard himself was hiding many clues in the background.
Either way, the hype is real and players can't wait to see what's next in Fortnite. And while we wait, there's plenty more content to enjoy.
