How to start the Golden Land of Dreams quest

In order to start the Golden Dreamland quest, you need to complete the main story and complete the Archon Quest Volume 3, Chapter 5 called "Akasha's Pulse and Kalpa's Flame". After successfully completing this quest, you will be able to take a new quest in the village of Aaru from a character named Boniface. To find Boniface, head right in front of the village entrance and he will be waiting for you near the statue of the Archon.

After receiving the quest Golden Dreamland, you will follow the path left by its previous inhabitants, from the entrance to the village of Aaru. Carefully examine the ground in search of traces that will indicate the direction of further movement. Following these footprints, you will be able to continue your journey in the given direction.

After talking with Boniface, the first task from the Golden Land of Dreams quest series called Lost in the Sands is activated. This task sets you the goal of finding an archaeological expedition that has lost contact. You have to go on a journey and find the missing group of archaeologists, located somewhere in the desert sands.

Lost in the Sands: How to Find All the Tablets and Complete the Quest

As part of the Lost in the Sands quest, you need to pay attention to the footprints that appear immediately at the exit from the village of Aaru, next to the statue of the Archon. You can easily spot these footprints as I circled them in red in the screenshot provided. Then follow the tracks and navigate the mini-map, where an orange circle will be displayed.

Along the way, you will find yourself next to an abyss that you will need to jump into to find the members of the Archaeological Squad. You should "talk to three people" in the camp: Jabrail (high warrior Hermit), Tirzadom (scientist from the Academy) and Nakhtigar (merchant from Mondstadt). After talking to them, you will need to "talk to the fourth person who is standing at a distance", and her name is Jeht.

After conversations and acquaintances, you will go in search of a way out of the abyss. Here you will enter the "tombs" or "dungeon". As you continue your exploration, you will come across the first group of enemy guards that you need to defeat. Pay attention to the right side, where the first one will lie. Tablet: Sheep's head.

As you continue exploring the tomb, you will find "sealed" mechanisms that require "more power". Ignore them for now and move on by taking the elevator down.

Note the hovering object and the barely visible totem for the pyro ability. In order for the object to take shape, it is necessary to use an electrical ability at the moment when it passes near the pyro totem.

After activating the pyro totems, open the door and keep moving forward. In a long corridor with stairs leading down, at the end next to the fairy spot, you will find the following Tablet: Valley.

This is followed by a small dialogue between the heroes, where Tirzad again expresses his fatigue and doubts that he can overcome the difficulties of the expedition. However, it's time to take the elevator up. Upon reaching a small room, walk up to the door to trigger and start the task "Examine the strange device". Here you will meet a new member of the expedition - Benben. After finishing the conversation with Jeht, go back down the elevator and talk to Jabrail about your findings. At this point, you should go into seclusion with Tirzad, where he will give you [Slab of red sands], thanks to which you can activate the mechanisms.

In Genshin Impact, in the inventory section, find "Golden Dreamland: Red Sand Slab". Select a stove and click the "View" button to learn more about it and understand how it works.

You can take the time to learn some of the features of this stove, but you can come back to it later. To fully activate it, you will need to solve a few riddles, and for this we will provide a separate large article.

Take the elevator up again and open the door where you met Benben earlier. Now you can interact with some mechanisms with the help of the "Red Sands Plate".

However, in order to open all the mechanisms in all the tombs, you need to collect the tablets and place them in the obelisks. The tablets can be found in different parts of the Golden Land of Dreams, so be careful and explore the environment.

When you find the tablet, approach the obelisk and place it in the corresponding hole. Each tablet will have its own unique place in the obelisk. After all the tablets are placed correctly, the mechanisms in the tomb will be activated.

This will give you access to new areas and allow you to move forward in search of answers and treasures. Remember that collecting the tablets and placing them in obelisks is an important element in the passage of the Golden Land of Dreams and will allow you to uncover all its secrets and secrets.

When you pass through small devices that spewing fire waves, you will enter the room on the right. There will be a statue of a "wolf", above whose head you can find [Dendroculus].

Next, you will find yourself in a small room along the corridor, where you have to get acquainted with the new mechanics - Strange Replica Stones. When you approach one of them, it will "attach" to your hero and you will need to carry it to the blue-lit area.

Further, in the next room, you will come across two strange replicator stones. After defeating the guard, activate them and install the appropriate mechanisms on the platforms. Initially, they will be inactive, so you need to rotate the cell (mechanism on the left). After that, the seal from the mechanism that opens the doors will disappear, and you can go further.

Enemies and a mechanism that unlocks the door will be waiting for you outside the door. Defeat all opponents and open the door. After walking a little forward, a dialogue will begin, and you will realize that you have left the tomb and you can move on. Follow the path to the left.

When choosing a fork where mushrooms attack you, you need to turn right. You can also take a fairy with you, which you can follow to get a chest at the end and exit the tomb and dungeon. At the end you will also get the achievement "Expedition to the desert» for completing the quest Lost in the Sands.

After being sent to the oasis and spending the night there, the heroes continue on their way to the Temple of Hemen. The door inside will be able to open a new familiar character - Benben.

After opening the door, you will find yourself in a room where there are several directions. On the sides are closed doors, which you can ignore for now. Just go straight ahead. The rest of the team is waiting for you there, with whom you can just chat.

Choose one of the directions, for example, right, and open the door to go down. You will be attacked by scorpions and here you will also find Strange Replica Stone. Taking it will create a Primordial Spark, and after activating it, you will need to follow the spark to the room where the rest of the expedition members are.

If you open the left door, then everything will be simple. Defeat the enemies, activate the Primordial Spark and follow it to the main room. Then open the door leading to the lower floor of the Hemenu temple and go there.
