Subnautica: Below Zero Full Version Coming May
Underwater sequel Subnautica: Below Zero leaves early access for PC and heading to consoles, including Switch.
After two years in Early Access, the sequel Subnautica: Below Zero о underwater survival is ready for great success. Developing phased issue its predecessor, developer Unknown Worlds will release an indie version of the game on May 14 on PC, Mac, and all major consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, simultaneously.
Actions Subnautica is set in the watery depths of the arctic alien planet 4546B, and will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store; on PlayStation 4 and 5; Xbox One and Series S/X; and Switch in physical and digital versions for $30. For Switch players who missed out on the action in the first round, a physical set that combines the original Subnautica and the sequel, will also drop on May 14 for $60.
Subnautica: Below Zero takes place one year after the events of the first game, where you once again plunge into the dangerous waters of a hostile alien world. Your goal is to stay alive by collecting resources and creating new technologies, unraveling the mysteries of the icy tundra. For the past couple of years, Unknown Worlds has been polishing the Early Access version based on player feedback. Now they are almost ready to release an open world sequel to a larger group of players at the same time.
