The first transgender Fortnite superhero from the DC Universe
Epic Games invites you to the Royal Rainbow event starting September 1, 2022 in Fortnite:
“Board the Rainbow Bus in Battle Royale and join us in celebrating the love, understanding and acceptance of all who make up the Fortnite community. Royal Rainbow is back in Fortnite to honor LGBTQIA+."
On this occasion, the game received several specialized cosmetic items, a special island of the Rainbow Cross, several tasks from the "Play it your way" series, for which you will receive a handful of sweets. There is also room for a new skin Dreamer from the DC world. Nia Nal is a reporter by day who is also a superhero by night. She can use powerful dream energy and see visions from the future.
Dreamer appeared in the Arrowverse series and is the first (at least officially) transgender character to make it into Fortnite. Interestingly, the actress who plays the character in the series (Nicole Maines) will be streaming Fortnite during a special broadcast promoting Doimer's appearance. When? September 9 at 3:00.
With all this, it is worth adding that the very appearance of a new superman from the DC universe is a big surprise, because so far we have received mostly heroes from Marvel. We've been waiting for someone new from DC for probably a year. By the way, I note that Nicole Maines, the actress who plays Dreamer, is also the author of a comic book about this character.
