Firaxis Games, with the support of 2K Games, has released a trailer dedicated to the Ottoman Empire in the upcoming expansion Civilization VI: Gathering Storm. Suleiman the Magnificent, under whose leadership the country is located, is positioned as a great reformer and conqueror.

The Ottoman Empire has an extensive toolkit for successful conquests. Two types of unique units are available to the state - Barbary Pirates and Janissaries. The former are used in the early stages, the latter are notable for their low price and power, but they give a penalty to the population in unconquered settlements. The unique skill of the "Ottoman Empire" is "Big Turkish Bombard". It strengthens siege units and reduces their cost.
Suleiman the Magnificent's skill is called Grand Vizier. It allows you to hire an exclusive governor, Ibrahim Pasha. He is distinguished by his own development tree and can even work on the territory of another power. The Grand Bazaar is a unique building of the Ottoman Empire. It replaces the standard bank, providing important resources and additional people's happiness. Finally, the last feature of the state is the preservation of the previous number of people in the conquered cities with loyalty bonuses.
A similar video featuring Queen Christina of Sweden was the first themed video for the upcoming expansion. As a reminder, Civilization VI: Gathering Storm will be released on February 14th.
